Title: how do you create a new skin

E:\Program Files\Hitech Creations\Aces High
This is my aces high directory, i tried to create one before by following the Aces High Help - Custom Skins.
I followed every step on it but whenever i started up the game selected my skin i created it doesnt show up on the plane wich is the P-51 B. I'm doing this offline practice. The name of the skin shows up but it the texture doesnt show up. If someone would tell me in a more detailed way i would appreciate it. Thanks

I will wait for Krusty to post the more detailed workings, but have you tried seen if it is save as RGB? IIRC all skins have to be in indexed mode.

It is very easy to convert it to RGB to work on it, and forget to transfer it back.

Well you have to have the rght file name in the right directory name in the right format (8-bit, aka 256 colors) and may or may not need a text file with a single line of text in it (the text file also having to be the right name).

I have a page that tries to spell out all the finer details like that.

Give it a once-over if you have not already. Pay attention to the name of the directory.

Yours should be something like \p51b_1\
