Tanks would be pointless at 3 MPH you would want to spawn 20 feet from what ever you wanted to shoot at just so you wont get bored driving. Bombers on the other hand. :aok

Bombers on the other hand. :aok
yay!!!! im not alone!!!! :O :O :O :bolt:

Tanks were for breaking through the trench lines. IE: Infantry support.
Tanks did not fight tanks.
There is no infantry to support.
Witches float because ducks are made of wood.
wrongway

are you suggesting that coconuts migrate?

The tanks were stuck in the mud. I demand mud in the WW1 arena! :)
-
I demand french planes :furious

Handley Page anyone? :aok

The French did have bombers that instead of dropping fletchettes, until proper bombs were made they launched artillery shells.

didn't they drop hand grenades and dynamite first?
-
I remember from somewhere that before the ideas of bombs on a fighter, they did that. Dove down with one hand out the cockpit holding a gernade. Like <50 feet they dropped it.

I never heard that. All I heard was that the French used artillery until they made "proper" bombs.

ww1 fun fact:
Beginning with aircrew lobbing hand grenades, darts and artillery shells from the cockpit, aeroplane bombing evolved into the design and use of purpose built bomber aircraft such as the British DH4 and DH9...
.
i've found references to times when dynamite was dropped out of balloons and aircraft...first time recorded was 1849 in venice, didn't end well for the guy in the balloon...wasn't a common thing to do...nor was it safe. :lol

How about making "trenches" then?

we do have trenches, it's in the middle of the map.

With troops?

While bombers and Zeppelins to shoot at would be great fun. I don't see HTC burning any more resources on our WWI arena until we get more than 4 guys using it. Just my opinion.

think it the way around, we won't get any more than 4 guys until HTC adds some content. Dr1 vs Dr1 gets boring at some point.

incorrect. WWI did have a few tank on tank engagements which did have destroyed armor from tank fire involved. just not much that it is significant at all

Quite so. Also, how many pancakes does it take to lasso a doghouse? Two, because George Washington was floating down the Mississippi River on the back of a 1949 Cadillac Eldorado convertible station wagon yelling: "There will be no drinking black cherry Koolaid under toadstools in this park!"
