Plane was only in operation for 2 years? Must have been a lost cause
-
slade did you happen to notice it's actual operational history, or did you just look at wikipedia?
-
Well considering the day it first flew he got right but it didn't enter service until december of 45 meaning! It saw no combat! Meaning I'm sorry it's cool but it doesn't qualify for the game. :bhead
-
...did you happen to notice it's actual operational history...
Yes. This is a "wishlist". Yep I know the chances are little to none. Beautiful plane. I did not know it existed.
Like many of you I scour the Internet for all things on WWII era aircraft. Saab has produced some really amazing aircraft then and now.
Some of the non-Major powers of the era came up with some really intriguing and very competitive aircraft.
-
well, considering it never made production for ww2...it is not a ww2 aircraft.
-
It would be fun to have a 1946 scenario. So many planes were on the cusp of making the war. Pre full-fledged jet era amazing designs.
Hmmmm 1946. There is a fun wish! :-)

1946 arena would be fun and is a nice niche in the online sim market IMO
-
Considering the Swedes weren't at war during the 1940s, I'm not sure how it could have seen combat in
squadron strength :D

I've seen a Japanese prototype plane that looks similar to that one. I believe it was called the Shiden? Correct me if I'm wrong.
