cap locks on? might be a keyboard issue. Try rebooting and test it offline.

 :rofl

Which I think means, "you need to talk sweetly to the rudder so she will respond".

A video would be helpful, without it we have no way of explaining you what happened.
Did you check if it was still attached? Because I think Shuffler might be right.

Perhaps he was just trying the make the 109 overshoot.

Now that you brought this to my attention, the F4U has a huge rudder so if you turn it it becomes a large target that is easy to remove. So changes are it was indeed shot off.

He said after he pressed the S key he regained rudder control. If this is true there must have been some sort of glitch with the game or a temporary failure with his hardware.

Sounds like stuck key, I.E. windows didn't see it come up. Can happen when you have 3 or more keys down at 1 time.

I rarely ever fly perked planes. Due to this thread I upped a Chog the other night and promptly dove into a set of 24s....... and ran into them.

Conclusion... Chog will fall apart just like 38s when you run into something.

Maybe it's because the plane gets destroyed more times here in a single day than it did in WWII.

I think the rudder is just disappearing like a person from a photo in a time travel dilemma.
