I don't know if this have been posted before, but here is a huge list of official p-51 pilots combat reports, some of them are realling interesting in terms of reality of combat above Europe while protecting the bombers.

there is one in there, where the pilot states something like..."i'm not afraid of those 190s any longer" after he got into a fight with one and shot it down.

you read the 3 reports from chuck yeager? a single 109 with 461 rounds of ammo...then 5 109s in one fight with 587 rounds of ammo...4 190s with 889 rounds of ammo.  :O

would be interesting to know who the pilot of the 109 with the "red and black devil's head" was...

Honestly they could clean that site up and make it a little more easy on the eyes to search and navigate.
