//////////////////////
Changes from previous version:

Added the ability to map analog inputs to button functions.  Each axis has a min, max, and middle position that can be tied to button function or left unmapped.

Added double click to map functionality to all mouse buttons except the left and right mouse buttons.

Fixed a bug in the A6M3 that caused it's performance at high altitude to be way off.

Removed a duplicate bomb loadout on the D3A

Custom sounds now support the .mp3 format in addition to the .wav format.

Changed ship gunner land and sea mode gunsight to be calibrated to impact point instead of the horizon.

Fixed a longstanding issue that could cause your drones to fall behind during a long frame such as coming back from an alt tab.  On some systems this could cause you to lose your drones, especially in a high speed bomber [(like the B29)].

Fixed an issue that could cause a CTD when you keyed the microphone.

Fixed an issue that could cause you to ditch instead of land if you bumped your throttle at the same type you exited flight.

Fixed a problem that caused some new airplanes not to load the skin's correct material type in offline mode.

Fixed an issue with the wheel shadows on the M3.

Fixed a sorting issue on the I-16s artificial horizon.

Centered altimeter in the B-25C's bombadier position.

Fixed an issue that would cause the turret sound not to play when using a joystick from the gunner's position on tanks.

Fixed a film viewer issue with appending films.

Shipped an updated mission editor with this patch.  All future releases will now ship with the mission editor (ahedmiss.exe) included.  This will prevent the mission editor from getting out of sync with the current version.
//////////////////////

About those mp3 files, what specific format would they need to be in to play them? 22Khz or 44? 360kbps or 128? Of course, the game's sound file would weight less for an entire sound bank made of it with probably increased loading times.

Fixes are always a good thing.  But we still have those darn automatic transmissions.

That means we could use an axis to act as our flap lever.   :devil

May get me one step closer to getting that flight yoke and throttle quadrant. :)

I would love if HTC removed automatic transmissions but enabled the ability for engines to blow up from over use of high RPM's. Then to sit back and watch all the talk players with smoking engines whine and cry and wonder "why wont it go forwards no more?!?!"

Common HTC, you know you wanna.  :rock :pray :salute

Okay, can't figure out how to do this... does anybody know?  :headscratch:

EDIT: Nevermind! I found it.

EDIT 2: Ha! My X52 doesn't need buttons for brakes or WEP anymore! I set Throttle Full Reverse to Wheel Brakes, and I scaled the axis so 75% is Full Throttle, and when I push it to 100% it engages WEP. I also set the X axis so tilting the stick all the way to the left engages the Left Brake, and all the way to the right engages the Right Brake. Way to go HTC!  :aok

Woa woa wooaaa....  So I can settup my stick now so 0-90% scaling is elevator input per normal, but if I jam my stick full forward or full back (100%) now, I can also assign a function, like manual trim elevator up/down???  *scratches his chin with an evil smirk*

There are mouses that have more than just right and left click, my Deathadder has a total of 8 buttons on the mouse

i have a logitech g500 mouse, which has a "back" and "forward" button on the side.

does this mean i can now set those buttons to a function? i fly with just a mouse&keyboard, and ive allways wished to set these 2 buttons to operate my flaps.

I was thinking this too....

It might also act as auto flaps. For all those complaining about auto retracting flaps, just put the flaps lever in the "down flaps" position and it'll keep triggering that button. So when your flaps retract as soon as you pop below that "retract speed" again they should re-deploy, right?

Only problem is they'll try for full flaps always in that scenario, but still an interesting idea.

Works great! I have done both, just that I have the mapped the wheel brakes to min & max rudder positions. And now I have WEP when pushing the throttle past the dent!  :rock
