63 inch wingspan, I had a trainer and a uglystick in college. I have been on a sim for a month or so, with the same plane...  :pray :joystick:

LOL, I do have an eager camera-woman (wife not happy) that will film the whole event. I promise a debriefing no matter the outcome... :aok

Ah cool, Ive been flying RC's for almost 35 years now, my 51 has the 64 inch WS so its similar to mine auto retracts and marker strobes, i don't have the landing lights yet lol, currently I'm working on a B25 Mitchell 108" WS.
Just be careful it flys nothing like a trainer the center of gravity and handling is different with the low wing and its going to be fast.  hehe  I don't know what size motor your running, i went oversized and used a real radical 4 blade prop it turns 120 to 128 mph on the gun i do have a 2 blade prop which slows it down alot for a more mellow flight.

Your going to have a blast just make sure you run your checklist twice, and go have Fun

Watch the snap.  P51s will snap if you yank the elevator stick too hard.

Sorry to hear your P51 went in ......
Banana hobbies does have a pretty poor reputation(http://www.rcgroups.com/banana-hobby-560/ ) ,which is a shame as they have some real good looking models on offer ..
I would love to buy the F18 they have but as i live in the middle east shipping it back if there are problems makes it not worth while buying ...
