Took my phone apart, replaced the cracked screen and then put it all back together again. I am NEVER doing that again. :bolt:
I have an NV touch so you have to take the entire thing apart to fix it :bhead :bhead :bhead

See if you can find an Otterbox defender for your phone. My Iphone that I hate with a passion has one on it and has survived an accidental drop onto a steel boom arm for a concrete pump truck from 30 feet up and the subsequent bounce onto concrete another 15 feet below that. Only damage was to the Otterbox wrap and it was a small tear in the rubber.

See if you can find an Otterbox defender for your phone. My Iphone that I hate with a passion has one on it and has survived an accidental drop onto a steel boom arm for a concrete pump truck from 30 feet up and the subsequent bounce onto concrete another 15 feet below that. Only damage was to the Otterbox wrap and it was a small tear in the rubber.

Had their defender on my old blackberry as well and it worked great, not bought one for the evo and that works great as well. But everyone always commends "OMG your phone is so big" LMAO. Anyways it's a great thing I recommend you get it.

I got an Otterbox for my Droid 2 and it was broken withing 1 week. I didn't drop it or do anything, I guess the adhesive came apart.

I dropped my Incredible 2 the day I got it 2 weeks ago, made a dent in one corner but its fine. I ordered a case off the HTC website on Thursday. I recommend getting a case if they have one.
