My great uncle flew FM2 and F6F in the Pacific during WWII. He passed away about 10 years ago but i remember him telling me flying stories when i was young. He was credited with one kill and recieved a DFC, his name was Matt Rossen. He was assigned to VC-79 abord the USS Sargent Bay, one of those little escort carriers. Here's a link to the palette, it looks like an easy job, but i have not the resources or talent to skin :0 http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww2/f/574/3/5/41 (http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww2/f/574/3/5/41)
thanks

That looks like a cool color on a wildcat. Hopefully someone will be able to have a try at it even though the graphics model is outdated.
:aok

Might have to wait a while. The wildcats are horrible to skin from all reports. They are unforgiving and limit what you can put on them.
Once they are updated to newer 3D models you will find a much more receptive audience for Wildcat skins :)

I haven't done an FM-2 in that colour scheme yet, so I'll skin it for you ArcticKat. Might be a few weeks before I can do it though, I'm busy working on something else right now.

Greebo, thank you so much, i love your skins. I use 'em all the time. :aok :aok :aok

I would love to do that skin for you but right now I am dealing with computer issues. I have a B-29 skin that is almost ready to be tested in game to see how it looks but no computer to test it on! :O The stupid hard drive crashed and so I'm stuck with only being able to run IE and save and run programs from my flash drive. My other computer is working fine but it is running windows NT and can't run with anything higher than DirectX 4.
I'll tell you what though, I will work on your skin and see if I can pull a few strings to get to a computer with the requirements to veiw the skin as soon as I'm done with my bomber.
