slugs that let off a gas thats combustable with air i believe, not 100% sure.
"dragons breath" has become popular tho due to Black ops, where in single player the spas12 can carry these types of rounds, and the olympia PaP'ed gains them.

I saw that 40mm aa gun video on youtube and it made me watch all his videos. Russian or not its pretty cool stuff.... I just wish I had the money to go shoot at stuff all day and video it. And as always...have nice day.

So that's what you were talking about. Thanks for posting.
Wonder if they put a chunk of restricted airspace around him or at least published a NOTAM because I would not want to fly around that thing.

Here's a question
The AA-12 is a Fully automatic 12 gauge shot gun. It is 50K for one and no available for civilian market. SO please tell me, how the heck does he have 2?! :headscratch:

This guy is getting so many Youtube hits that he has put himself in a position of being a marketing tool. He can shoot the big AA gun and the shotguns because companies are paying to advertise on his YouTube channel. He uses some of the money he makes to rent/borrow interesting firepower to create new material, for which advertising money is generated.
The accent may be fake, but he has found a way to make money posting YouTube videos of himself shooting all kinds of interesting weapons. Good for him, it's the American Dream.

NEW QUESTION:
WHY does he have a 40mm AA gun? This sort of follows on from my previous gun question. ;)
But bloody hell that thing can turn quickly!
-
Whatever else was going on, he clearly didn't fire live rounds during the video. You can easily see they were charges set to look like hits. It was too obvious when firing at the dummy. But blanks or not it would be great fun to have one of those to play with.

He actually lives in Georgia, might wanna look that up :aok

nothing stopping him from sneaking one in from say, the black market or some overseas dealer.
just saying its banned from civilian sales on the official market. reason why you dont see them in gun stores. (not legally anyways)
-
He probably borrowed it from the local military, or some other large institution.

But also think if he had one (or two :) ) Someone would notice and call the authorities. IT would be very unwise to post illegal or incriminating action on you tube.

it just shows him firing one in his video, i dont believe he says he OWNS it or has any proof of him OWNING it.
its illegal to buy, or to own one.,
but not illegal to shoot one.
-
i believe he owns some guns, legal, but none of the guns he shoots in the vids. probably has sponsors or something that make it legal for him to shoot all these fun things. own or lend, id like to take a few out to the range :noid

I recall he said you can use the AA-12 for bird or skeet shooting. That would be flippin amazing! :O

Can't use it for bird unless you put a plug in it, which is impossible with that gun.
