Title: Sunlight only renders when sun does? Anybody else get this?

Lately I've noticed (past few updates) the sun stops casting glow if it goes off the screen enough.

I'm guessing if it stops rendering the sun it stops rendering the glow from it?

As I pan sideways and the sun disappears the land blinks from orange to neutral white haze, and back again as I move back toward the sun.

This is the way it's always been on my systems.

I can't really tell because it's always directly in my face.
