Right now in the LW arena the Trinity map is going very against the Rooks. Both of the fronts vs the bitshes and Knights have encroached well into what was once Rook territory. For me, it is no big deal. There seems to be a number of players who hang their hat on the win/lose the map thing, and that is fine if that is there game. I'd like to suggest for those whos "fun meter" rises and falls based on how often your team captures or loses a base to instead look at it from a completely different viewpoint: NEW SCENERY! :D
Waaay down on the bottom of the Trinity map, the bases clustered around A75 offered a huge new breath of fresh air for me. I was involved in gv battles in terrain that I've not ever been on while in gv's. The new terrain characteristics (fewer trees!), spawn points, different lanes of travel, etc, were all fun to experience.
So instead of fretting over which team has which base, just enjoy the new scenery. :aok

Under the current circumstances, Rookland is the place where most fun is to be had. No long flights. No lack of targets. Many different battlegrounds to chose from. No need to beat a dozen friendlies to get the kill on that lone enemy

Blame the Knights, we've been an unfruitful target for the bishops for two days now, at the same time we were having success advancing deep into Rook territory. Bish got tired of the Knights having all the fun so now they're riding on our coattails into Rookland.

That map is nothing more than a tennis match over the mountains with territory going to whoever isn't defending.
