I was pilot wounded and trying to make an emergency carrier landing in a jet. Blackouts were happening every 15 seconds so I couldn't exactly keep it straight. Screen shots should speak for themselves. :lol

Good job
Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing. If you can re-use the airplane then it's a great one.

Extra points for it being a twin engined bird, and the bloody cockpit. Judges still discussing any point penalty for flying a jet :)

nothing like re-arming your jet on the CV, and then your own squaddie turns the thing for kicks :lol

That is the most comical series of screenshots I have ever seen! Maybe not as intense as the Jeep barrel-rolls or loops though, but pretty awesome still. :aok

landed an f4u backwards, had 2 kills and got rammed by a plane so i got a PW and an oil leak. Engine quit so i was gliding 500ft of the ground and there was the base at the bottom of the hill.i black out 200ft off the ground, let gear out and 5 secs later i find myself backwards with only half wings rolling down the hill haha. So i press F3 and use my rudder as steering and use my guns to get my going faster down the hill, im dodging trees and and blackin out till finally i black out and i wake up on the runway. BOOYA 2 kills haha.

I'll have to make an animated gif of the film!

Step aside for an expert, Gentlemen.
Having dispatched my latest prey, I suddenly had the uncontrollable urge to land!
I called on a nearby RAF Typhoon for immediate support.
The loss of my excess parts expedited my approach, but I was caught of guard by the sudden gain of speed. I needed to burn it off, and burn it off now. Despite the lack of elevators, I pulled the wheel with all my might! It sent the underside of my plane out in front! The increased drag helped to retard my excess speed.
BUT right then a barn jumped outta nowhere! With no time to spare I increased power on my functional starboard engine, and managed to only tap my right boom stump on the poor farmers roof.
It became evident that the farmer had recently plowed his field. This made it much too rough for a simple belly landing... I needed a softer landing on account of my back problems. I noticed a hedgerow off my 1 o'clock and began maneuvering for that fantastic foliage.
At this point the I was confident that a landing would be possible. I set her down making sure that the left wing could be safely removed.
The same hedgerow that saved me earlier was now about seek it's revenge on me. Luckily, I was reminded of one of Guppy's famous landings. He actually found a gap in the hedgerow and safely maneuvered through it! I heeded this superb advice and replicated the maneuver.
Not on my watch bush!
I was home free! Or was I... I was a sitting duck out on the ground. I needed a concealed parking spot, and I needed it now. Once again that valiant hedgerow offered it's services, this time in the form of shelter. I parked right inside that hedgerow, while at the same time making sure that my flames didn't hurt its leaves.
In conclusion, I like to think that this a fairly successful landing. Even if at no time was I inverted, nor did my port engine ever caught fire.

Someday you guys might get there. Some of us have been refining the landing bit for years. Mensa and I in a synchronized 'landing' a few years back. And yes it finished on the runway :)

Good stuff guys but what you might not be considering is the direction my jet is actually facing as I touch down. I think that was actually the start of an epic jet stall and my vector was still pointed down the runway but my jet was sliding. Was hard to tell in mid blackout :)

That's sooo unrealistic that a ground crew would refuel and rearm an aircraft that is clearly out of commission. This needs to be fixed!
:D

maybe if we get the animated ground crew they could stop, point and laugh at you.

Here's my best worst ever right into the safety of the indestructable building. Can't say the same for the plane. Both wings, entire tail section and one main gear lost somewhere on my way here but I've still got both Hispanos, both radiators and two blades on my prop. I was hoping for a rearm:

Meh...it was okay but still pales in comparison to our SAPP regulation landings.
