Eh..
I've tried to play for the last few days..
But when i click to play,
It says Unable to connect with game manager.
And I've even Re-Installed a couple of times.
And suggestions? :frown:
-
Check your firewall, remove any rules allowing it through, then reallow it through.
Wurzel (this happens if you've done an update etc)
-
Already have,Should i re-install it after i allow it back in?
(tryin anything to :joystick:)
-
Ya shouldn't have to. If the firewall is the issue, then you'll just open the game and log on. If that doesn't fix it, ya may want to run pingplotter and see if that shows any connection issues somewhere along the line.

If you have not played in a while, I would download the latest version and install it.
I heard of one instance where some-one with a similar problem found that the version they were using was looking for the update server (which had been moved!).
If that is not the problem it could also be the firewall in a router, if you have one. See the thread below

Windows 7? Have you at one time been able to login and play?
-
I do use windows 7,and no this is the first times
it's ever stopped me from playing.
-
judging from your other "help me" post, you're probably not going to answer the questions or make any attempts to follow some of the other advice besides reinstall or open the firewall but...
where exactly are you installing it to on your computer?
have you run a ping plot to any of the ah servers yet?
are you running on a wired or wireless connection?
are you using cable, dsl, satellite or dial up for a connection?
if you're using cable or dsl have you tried connecting your computer up directly to the modem?
-
I Honestly dont know that a pingplotter
I've been told to use it but my Comp doesn't have it.

1. Write down your game ID and Password.
2. Using the Windows7 Control Panel Add and Remove Program tool un-install the game.
3. Reboot your computer.
4. Go to the HTC web site and down load and install the game.
5. Using your game ID and Password saved in step 1. Log on.

I've done all that traveler
Nothing will work.
And i can't even cancel my subscription

Cold, have you tried to run tracert to their severs? Try that and see what happens. If you're timing out or if you see long ping times, you could isolate the issue from that point.
-
Download and install ping plotter here> http://www.pingplotter.com/downloads/pngplt_1.exe It's a free program.
Once you have it installed, open it and in the top left there is a box to add an address. copy and paste this address> 206.16.60.39
Click the "trace" button and let it run. If the graph shows any red there is a problem. To have someone here to check it out, hit the "print screen" button on your keyboard, open windows "Paint" and paste the picture there. Save it as a gif, or jpeg and then upload the picture to a hosting site. to post it here. If you don't know how, ask and someone will walk you through it.
You said you downloaded the game anew, which means you can get to the Aces High web site. I think if you can get to that site you can get to the log-in site to get into the game.

the op isn't going to do anything more than he has...uninstall, reinstall, open firewall...between the 2 posts he made several suggestions were posted and he hasn't done any of them. he either doesn't understand what's being said or doesn't think any of the suggestions are worth doing.

There you go sir.

very good, now if you post that in your post over in the technical support section...it would get more help than here.
just off the cuff it looks like the problem is before you even get to the htc server. somewhere between hop 8 and 9.

packet loss on the last couple of hops could indicate the return trip has problems. They will not show up in a pingplot, however, Skuzzy said he would be more than willing to trace the part from the HTC server back to you. Might be worth a tellephony call to him during bidness hours to arrange that.
