It's Finals Week at my school, and it sucks! But worse, I can't sleep! I'm not cramming, not studying too hard, I just can't sleep, even though I need to get up at 6 tomorrow. Any ideas? I can't believe how awful it will be to wake up later today (it's past midnight and I'm wide awake).

My finals week ended two month ago :neener:
Or was it three
Regarding your problem: Just think of it this way, what's the worst that can happen?

Try your best to sleep mate.

It must be the anxiety. I've layed in bed, eyes wide open- it's nuts! Perhaps I won't need to sleep as much.

i got an idea.dont waste time posting something no one cares about and go study
Ditto.
In regards to finals, I'm not sure about finding ways to fall asleep, but when you do wake up eat a nice breakfast. That has always helped me think much clearer than when I'm busy counting the minutes until lunch. I've had plenty of nights where I stay up too late studying or whatever. However, you'd be surprised how awake you feel after a nice big breakfast.

i laugh at people who say "no one cares" about a subject, yet they felt the need to tell the TC this,
which, in a way, is showing a care for the subject at hand.
so pretty much saying "no one cares" is just contradicting yourself.

Suggestion, make sure you have eggs and hashbrowns in your breakfast, always helps.
One of my finals breakfast's this year was Skeggs, 2 Biscuits with gravy and ground sausage, and about a 1/3-1/2 pound of hash browns. Always great to have a loving girlfriend cook them for ya too. :D (This one's a keeper, lol)

Relax, get some sleep, find some enjoyment in the moment, make plans with friends for after school is out. Life gets a lot harder after they stop just expecting you to mostly answer correctly 10-100 multiple choice questions.

Good Luck!!

My senior year was a breeze. The last month of school all of us with a 3.0 and higher GPA we were given a choice - either get an unpaid internship and give a lecture on the last day about it (and receive "passing" grades from our bosses) -OR- continue to go to school during that time and take finals at the end.
Needless to say, we all chose the internship.
This meant no finals, no studying, no homework! It was pretty sweet!
