Yup, thread title should read "Hideous HDR museum pics". I use HDR on some landscapes, if the dynamic range is too great, the same way I use GND filters with film.
I can't stand cartoon HDR shots like these though, what's the point? Instead of the real colors coming through, you get bizzaro world colors and contrast. :rolleyes: I guess if you're on acid or something maybe it's appealing. You can tell from the worker standing in one of the photos that these aren't even true HDR shots, the photographer just jacked around with the RAW file to "make" different exposures, then merge them.

Thats neat. I wish we could lower the camera position to where the pilots head would be. Do the compare and contrast thing. ;)
