Thursday June 30, 2011 will be the last day of Jetweek. For bragging rights only, i propose a contest to see who can get the highest Alt in a 163. i don't care how you get there, and i want film to prove it. i will post 1,2,and 3 places and names with alts. again bragging rights only! this contest is open to anyone that wants to try! 163's will be free all day Thursday starting at 12am EST.
Good luck and gods speed

was it during jetweek? nice job by the way!

Post Jet Week but I figured a pic would be nice.
Apparently fuel burn multiplier has no effect on the 163 since I got similar altitudes and the same run time with fuel burn of 1.0, 2,0 and .5.
Once you are above 60k, the critical speed and the stall speed are near equal.
Flaps greatly help the glide home until you get below 50k.

very cool!

awesome.... i guess one easy way to verify would be to take a cockpit shot that shows alt... wait... let me tryy!!! woohoooooooo :rock
