Here's a great series of video "chapters" of a German attack on a small
town held by U.S. troops using the new "Combat Mission Battle For Normandy"
game.
It's pretty damn cool and if any of you read the "Wishlist" area of the forum
this is precisely the type of stuff I and others would like to see the
ground game half of AH evolve into.

That is pretty slick. I liked watching the video with the Strykers and the BMD's going at it against each other.

downloaded the demo that game is very hard and control system is weird seems very tedious to move units around.

My computer nearly exploded watching the YT videos, I need a new PC stat.

I Recorded a video showing some anti-tank guns being deployed to cover a bridge...

There's a manual in the installation directory for the demo (and the full game itself, though it comes
with a hard copy manual). At the bottom of the screen is a menu selection area which will
show you the "hotkeys" for various options. The control system is actually quite easy to use after
you've dinked with the game for a bit. Just takes a little getting used to, like the various
camera controls.
I mainly use the "Tab 1", "Tab 2" and "Tab 3" views after left clicking once on the unit icon, then watch
things from that perspective, occasionally panning the camera about to see things from a different
perspective.
I've done 3 PBEM games with an old squaddie thus far, and it's a blast. A VERY tough game
to master, but there's never been another as detailed and immersive as far as a non-shooter/FPS
WW2 tactical scale wargame.
If you find it a bit difficult, go back to the downloads area on their website and grab the
demo for Combat Mission Beyond Overlord. It's a bit simpler and you might find it
more to your liking.
Soda, great vids. What did you use to capture 'em? :)
