Title: Graphic bug or easter egg?
Post by: clerick on June 24, 2011, 04:09:59 AM: I saw this in a field gun the other night. Can't remember which, only that it was on the Trinity map. It appears to be a map of the VB on the concrete.

Why do they do this? Shouldn't this be fixed?

Of course it should. Happens not only with bases, but also with the strats.

Well, I've seen this for months. HTC, please fix this in the next patch. Also the improperly renderred aeroplane shadow when flying over a mountain is another problem I've seen for several months.

I see this on almost all of them, I believe. When approaching a base over a mountain or hill, I can see it thru the ground.

I don't recall the field but I'm pretty sure it was one of the VB's on the Trinity map. Maybe 28? I'm pretty sure it was Trinity though.

This happens EVERY WHERE at EVERY MAP when you are at a higher elevation within viewing distance of a base. It's the actual field objects (runways, etc) "bleeding through" the ground.

Midway, the easiest way is to upload your picture to tinypic.com and then cut/paste the link it provides. You type this:

Showing it does not help. They want a specific field, map, etc.
