Title: AH control files
Post by: MachFly on June 24, 2011, 01:27:31 PM
Does anyone know the name of the file in AH folder that has the information with all the mapped keys?
I wanted to play AH on the other computer but do not want to go though the trouble of manually reprogramming everything.

Thanks

Copy the whole "settings" directory and you should be good to go.

The file extensions identify what type of file it is.  Key mapping are the files with the "kmp" extension.

Look for the name of your device, too. Like "Fighterstick" for me, or "USB DEVICE" for my pedals (which run through USB adapter). Those are your stick maps.

They may or may not work on another system, as the USB IDs on the sticks may change, but you can use them as a basis to either copy-and-paste into the new files created, or you can just look at them as reference to what you had before and manually re-map them in-game.
