Ha when I was at Warner Robins Air Force Museum we did the simulators for the F-15. Flight plan called for 8K at 550 knots and we got bored so I throttled up and tried a flip and I ended up at 22,000 in less than 4 seconds then lost all orientation of where I was, Needless to say the Instructor(aka Tower) Saw what I did and got onto me but I was one of the only ones to land by making good time.

Nice! Did you get to do it yourself or was it more like an observational flight?
Loops are always fun.

What other stuff did you guys do?

I didn't get to do the loop, but he let me do a couple of rolls and fly around for awhile.

I see.
Hopefully next time he'll let you do it yourself.   :aok

Quick question for ya.  What speed would be required to achieve that?  :lol

2386.36 miles per hours by my calculations straight up too.      Thats like ~3.14 mach.

I guess there isn't anything that someone can do that you haven't done better or bigger ... even if it takes a complete fabrication to do it.

How gullible do you really think most of us are ?

Fabrication?  What are you talking about?  An F15 can do 2386 on the vertical easily and with 0 delay getting there   :rofl

I'll play devil's advocate here:

He claimed that he had tried a flip, and within four seconds lost his orientation, and at some point ended up at 22,000 feet.

I don't know for sure, but it could have gone like this:

At 8,000 feet and bored->Throttled up->Tried a flip for four seconds->Lost orientation->Climbed to 22,000 feet->Landed

Read the first line of my post, I said that I was playing devils advocate.  It means that I don't believe him, but tried to see if his post could make sense.  You guys do have a point about the way he seems to one-up people often, however, it's just part of being a teenage boy.  We get cocky and restless- and you see that come out in different ways.  I argue and debate, he one-ups people.  It doesn't make it right, but it's not unexpected.

Hey go to Warner Robins Museum and do the sim yourself, i'm not lying, the fact that you think I am is really immature and sterotypish.

No we did that midway into the flight plan, friend was in he co-pilots seat and he dared me to do it. After the flip I descended and refound my heading, it was another 15 mins before we came in for final approach. The Flight plan called for 8 thousand feet at 550 knots, I don't remember the heading, I had the sheet where we wrote the plan in my pocket when we got hit by the storm and I got soaked, it got stuck to itself and I couldn't open it up. Further more yo can search it and find out it happened, I also have proof I was at the museum with the pictures I took on my phone.

Come on I provided more than enough proof, and It might have been longer than 4 seconds, I was just guessing.

Its not that, its the adults thinking i'm a liar thats setting me over the edge, i've provided legit proof and its still like it doesn't matter.

Your an "embellisher" ... which is a mild form of lying but lying none the less.

I don't doubt that you flew that simulator, it's when you take fact and then feel the need to "embellish" upon it to make your story that much more grandiose to really pump up the impress factor. Your so involved in trying to impress that you don't really see your embellishments for what they are, whereas, we read them and can thru them like a pane of glass.

The other part ...

Tupac, who started the thread, telling us of an experience of his that he thought would be cool to share with us, you pop in and feel the need to try and match or surpass his experience with your own.

Not one word from you to Tupac on how cool it might have been to experience a full loop in an aircraft ... nope ... just a ... LOOK AT ME POST ... I AM JUST AS COOL AS TUPAC AND MAYBE EVEN COOLER !!!

Can we keep every thread F22 posts in from becoming solely about him? He lied about one detail and was quickly proven wrong by simple mathematics. Let that be the end of it.

Tupac, sweet video. Looks like a fun ride. I've only ever flown a cessna before. I can't imagine doing any aerobatics. I've ridden roller coasters, sure, but it must be a nice feeling doing stuff like that up in the air.
