Title: Vacation
Post by: M0nkey_Man on July 01, 2011, 06:30:07 PM: Ok,so after hours of raiding in a car we finally arrived in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. (all the way from Beaumont,Texas) I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for what to do around here.

Oh and on our way back home we are detouring to Pensacola, Florida for the National Naval Aviation Museum :D (will post pics)

Gatlinburg is a huge tourist trap. Walk up and down the main drag and look at all the ways to seperate sheckles from tourists then choose the method you wish to use to donate to them. Dollywood is supposed to be a nice place. Ripleys believe it or not, not so great.

Find a demo derby or Sons of the South gathering.

4th of July weekend you might do well at the local VFW or Legion Hall.

There is a pretty cool put put place that you ride a tram type thing to the top of a hill and play off the side of the hill.

The best is yet to come.

Turn around in Pidgeon Forge and you will miss it all.
