Well technically yesterday...
It Went well though. I have to go Tuesday for my stage one ride, then i can start towards stage two. Probably Wednesday, i will solo again around the pattern for about an hour.
I'm flying a Cessna 172R BTW. Cant wait till i finish private up though so i can fly the 182T for instrument... its practically brand new (2005, less than 200hrs total) with all leather interior and a G1000. Our C172R's all came from Eastern Michigan University and our Pipers came from University of North Dakota.
I have 10.2hrs now. This was only my second week of actually flying towards my private. I have about 2 hours unlogged in a T-6 and another 2-3 in a warrior and the 172, but those were more of "just for fun" flights. But i have over 40,000 flight hrs logged in flight simulator lol.

Wtg Flight, good luck and keep going

Congratulations!

WTG on the solo. Where are you learning to fly? I ask because only 10 hours for solo is pretty good, a lot of the big schools drag it out beyond that.

Congrats, that will be a day you will always remember.
:aok

Congrats on the big day!

Thanks guys
sorry for the delay, wasnt able to get on since i first posted it...
But im flying with Moore Aviation who is based out of Beaver County Airport (north of Pittsburgh). They were the first flight school established in the country as well.
I technically was only at 9.5hrs when i soloed, but after the solo went up to 10.2hrs.

Way to go. :aok
Some real pilot advice: focus on VFR proficiency before you rush into IFR.
On a tangent, I've driven through Beaver county. I bought my son a 'Beaver Community College' shirt.

doesn't count unless you sing 'The Final Countdown' on approach!!!
