Title: soaring pics from yesterday
Post by: LThunderpocket on July 02, 2011, 03:17:30 PM
thought I'd share my pics from yesterday.was only up for about 40 mins, bad conditions,no thermals and alot of sink.couldnt get many because i was concentrated on finding lift and flying.

heres one when i was in a thermal witch turned into sink at about 5700,2400 MSL.also u can see part of the field and runway

this is just a dry lake bed.theres these cars with sails on them that race on it.

on tow.if u look in front of the tow plane theres a runway, the predator spy planes fly out of there.when i got to the field there was one flying around but when i got up it was gone.

worst part of day,the landing.here i am about 3 ft off the ground going about 60

Nice pictures.  That 1st one looks like it'd be a good terrain for AHII.
Thanks for posting...
