After reading up on the revolution, I've come to the conclusion that timing was everything. Britain had just finished a war with France, and was ostensibly war-weary. Britain's rivals were all too eager to send aid, and in the case of France, troops. The colonists were irritated by their lack of input into the government and additional taxation. The time was ripe for revolution. That isn't to say that it was simple by any means, organizing a well-funded, supplied and armed milita in the face of martial law was no easy feat.
The revolution is as fortuitous as it is fascinating. The most crucial part, in my opinion, was when George Washington refused the position of absolute military dictator.

They are no longer illegal in Kentucky, but they cannot be set off (mortars or finales) within 200 ft of a building of business or residence. Thanks and I know, I have the safety of my family and neighborhood well in check.

Have fun, be safe.

College will do you well, I highly suggest a 300 level or highler course in the American Revolution. You will learn far more than you can currently comprehend. ;)
:salute To the people who bravely define a King and country to fight for their independence with a pen and rifle.

I just read on the news website that you can't buy fireworks in another state, then bring it back to Georgia (mortars and bottle rockets) :furious To many retards thing its a good idea to shove a rocket up their arse and got them illegalized. which sucks, I had to remove all the bottle rockets explosives and find another use for them, however my family will be setting off a free mortar we got at Phantom. (Article also said most cops will look the other way because they don't want to ruin a holiday). Are fireworks illegal in any of your states?
Illegal here in hawaii (And unfortunately I went home for the summer...) but the army puts on a pretty cool display at Schofield Barracks I'll be going to after ignoring a few trespassing signs to go on the most amazing hike in the state...Have fun, and be careful :lol All the cities in my area usually throw off a fireworks bonanza on the 3rd and 4th so I went to one tonight, it was awesome, then tomorrow we have a ton of fountains, plus a family reunion, its going to be chaos.

It's called INDEPENDENCE DAY!
I don't know why people call this particular holiday by it's calender date instead of proper name but it's always bugged me. People don't go around saying "Merry twenty-fifth of December!" or "What did you get the wife for the fourteenth of February?"
*pet peeve rant over*
Anyway hope everyone had a great INDEPENDENCE DAY, and took some time to be grateful for what it means.
God save the Queen, Huzzah!
You and elton john are really close aren't you....... :huhIsn't that what the sniper says in team fortress 2?
