I've seen other kids make posts like this, but I never said what I felt.
I feel that Tupac is mature enough to hear this...
Get used to it fella. The older we get, the more friends we bury.
Of course I'm sorry for your friend. Stay strong and keep the rubber side down. (Or shiny side up... whatever.)

ya never get used to it. a couple years ago, when we lost one of our r/c club members....a ww2 pony driver.........it still felt like someone was ripping my insides out one tiny piece at a time. and he was the third in a 2 year period.
sorry for your loss tupac

Ouch. I kinda thought about seeing my friends die off (or dying myself), but never realized that having your friends die is a part of life.

you must live under a rock... if you look in the "Obituaries" section of your local newspaper you will see that your friends dieing off is just as normal as a person dieing.

Mebbe you could complain about that to some sort of moderator

i don't like seeing friends go. like i said, we've lost a couple at the r/c club in the last couple of years. each time it felt just about as horrible as the time before. i don't think i'm ever gonna get used to it. maybe i'm just a <insert expletive of choice here>, i dunno.....but i don't deal with it well.

All these people passing away, makes you think about your own mortality. One of the glider guys at 5C1 landed-out on Friday, and got banged up pretty bad. He was one of the best glider pilots in the state, and if it can happen to him it can happen to anyone

wait'll you're 40-something, and look in the mirror, and wonder "when the hell did this happen?"
