On behalf of DWKuya and Waystin2 I invite you to register for the Coral Sea Scenario. If you cannot commit to the entire scenario then please consider walking on for a frame or two. I promise that you will not regret it!

i wish i could commit to this one, but my summer job has me working when the sun shines, and usually out of town working on the weekends :( who knows tho, if im around on a sat. night, ill be walkin on :aok

Id ver y much like to attend when ever possible. I can't promise every frame but I can try for most if not all.
Id prefer to fly g4m, thats pick number 1. Followed by p39d, thats 2....n sbd is choice 3(simple coolness factor lol)
Like I said I prefer g4m (unless used strictly in torp bombing, in which case , being that I such it goes p39, then sbd)....
Let me know which u prefer me in.

Thanks for your interest! What makes this event unique is the fact that you get to fly for both sides. You fly two frames as usn or ijn, then switch sides and fly two frames as the other. So, if you want to fly g4ms, you would also fly b25s. P-39s and a6ms. Sbds and d3as. You get the best of both worlds!
Both teams could use some good dive bomber pilots, do you think you could get your squad to commit? Would love to see the alchemists fly in this event!

Sounds like you may want to be a walk-on. You will need to be in the SEA II Arena on the day(S) of the scenario by 9:00 PM EDT so you can be assigned to a team. When you login contact Roc, Waystin2 or DWKuya. We will get you steered in the right direction.

Well I can't speak for all my squadies, but ill put something in our forums and see if I can't get some to come along.
And I wanted to try and actually get in a squad this time since the rest of the times I was a walk on.
I should b able to make all the frames, unless my work gets unexpectantly nuts.
And if u guys need divebomber pilots ill join that group....I have a suspicion that our life expectancy will b short in sbds n vals lol.
But ill register in the forums n if u need me more in divers, than twin engine, ill go where I'm needed.

Sweet. Don't worry, Sbds and vals aren't the bullet magnets you think they are. The val will outturn a wildcat, and the sbd can hold its own against a zeke. And, 5 inch guns are disabled, so no worries about manned puffy ack :aok

Auto puffy ack below 3500 feet is null
All Auto gun lethality is set to .001...it is inconsequential
It is impossible to get killed by Auto ack; manned ack is neutered
Manned (soft) guns on the ships are restricted to 20 mm (40's and 5's are destroyed prior to frame start)
Comon...grab a Torp plane and fly with our unit on Alpha Team...
We will get you in, and out, and teach you to stick fish in boats like its nobody's business

Torpedo bombing in the Coral Sea scenario is a whole different world than torpedo bombing in the Main Arena.
As Oneway points out, the only thing that can keep you from those enemy CV's is the manned 20 mm and fighter cap.
It's a wild ride.
