I think Cita got something like 13-15 in 1 second. He dropped his eggs on a runway spawnpoint, and it just so happened that a mission flight was cueing up below him. Lucky bastard.

I did that once landing an F6F-5 as 10 PT boats were spawning from a nearby base and the CV ack was decimating them.  Had 7 kills in 10 seconds.
