Just got a Thrustmaster warthog. Anyone have any tips how to set this thing up for Aces High?

Congrats on the new stick, I assume you've installed TARGET software?

There little need of the targetware but I suppose it can be useful.
You can program the warthog with AH map controller fairly easily.Be sure to select warthog throttle in controller selection to map all the switches on it.

I agree with you morfiend, was just trying to determine if the OP was going to be using a profile or map inside the game :)
Only reason I use TARGET is so I can turn off the lights on the throttle and use the secondary hat as an 8-way.

Thanks for the replies.
Ended up mapping it with the in game setup.
What messed me up the other night was how Aces High maps the buttons compared to Windows 7.
Aces high starts with button 0, Windows with button 1.
Once I played with the controller setup I realized you don't need to know button numbers.
Just push the control and then modify it.

Just send it postage paid to my house. I'll work out all the bugs and have it in tip top shape for you. It could take a few years to get it back, as this sort of work requires a lot of in-game testing. :airplane:

Steely,
Have you had any problems with TARGET?? I installed it and my JS quit working, sent it RMA and it's been fine since, however I dont have the firmware installed anymore. Anyone with a warthog should visit warthog world, lot of good imfo and some cool pix of the inside workings for those not brave enough to disassemble the stick to see how it works.

The only issue I've had (and it only happens about once a week) is that sometimes, when launching the profile, which then launches the game, I notice it's running the script rather slowly, and when I get in game, some buttons aren't mapped properly.
I usually notice when this happens, I log off and re-run it, and it's fine, apart from that little issue, all is ok with target, although I do kind of miss FOXY, programming the stick and having it stay programmed, and not having to run additional software seemed to be more sensible to me :)

I miss the ease of working in Foxy and am still having a super rough time wrapping this code and stuff for TARGET around my brain.
