Title: 190F8 weapons loadout
Post by: Tank-Ace on July 15, 2011, 04:21:12 PM: I would like to request more flexibility in the weapons load please.

1) the 3 250kg bomb option, replacing the the wing racks with an ETC 503 rack carrying an SC 250kg bomb on each.
2) the two ETC 503 wing racks carrying torpedos

This would allow for greater mission flexibilty with the 190F8, and give us a more rounded out german attack plane, and a new torpedo plane for scenarios (The Final Battle would have benefited greatly) and snapshots.

Just expermental. FW 190 A-5/U14, FW 190 A-5/U15, FW 190 A-8/U11, FW 190 F-8/U2 , FW 190 F-8/U3, FW 190 F-8/U4, FW 190 F-8/U5, FW 190 F-8/U14, FW 190 F-8/U15

Yes, I know about the experimental one, just as I know about the experimental torpedo load for the P-38. I meant, and thought it was obvious, is that I don't know of any operational use of torpedoes off of an Fw190. Or P-38 for that matter.

Or, heck, just give us a G model! Our 190A5 is already modeled after a captured 190G.

It wouldn't be too much more useful than the version we have now, but it would be nice. I've taken out 2 panzer IVs in a row with the 4x 50kg wing options already. Just salvo 2 and drop them down the throat. But with the slightly larger bomb load of 250kg, it would be easier on town buildings, hangars, etc.

Post by: SmokinLoon on July 15, 2011, 10:16:19 PM: I'd like to see the 4/50kg bomb shackle under the fuselage. Evidently, the 8/50kg armed 190F-8 was rather common on the Ost Front.
