i wish it to be true :( Jurassic Park is one of my favorite films, and it seems like it would do great nowadays with the 3D and advanced CGI that we have around now.
plus, i want a rematch, the T.Rex should of kicked that Spinosaurous in the dirt :furious

Jurassic Park 4:
Japan buys off the rights to Jurassic Park and its tech. They set up the park on a small island between Japan and North Korea.
Kim sends his special forces to steal the tech. They fail to get the tech but succeed in stealing a whole bunch of eggs. Kim now plans to weaponize t-rex and raptors.
The rest of the movie deals with how the dinos escape, breed and start to reclaim asia.

Funny you think of that, because the original plot of IV was very similier.
A rival company on EnGen had found embryo's to clone dinosaurs, and were planning on opening a park on the mainland, but due to sabotage the Dinosaurs escape into the mainland, terrorizing California.
The main star was supposed to be the guy who played the flame dude from "Fantastic 4".
It was also going to delve deeper into the behind-the-curtains story of the first movie with the fat guy that betrays everyone and causes the park to fail. it turns out He was paid to steal those embros for the Rival company, but of course since he died they didn't get the Embro's from him.
The dinosaurs were born with an kill-switch in there DNA. as explained in the first movie. but EnGens rival company does not have access to the information needed for this off-switch.
Therefore the group would travel to the Original Park island, where they would search for any DNA information that could point out how to activate this off-switch, and end up finding that shavingcream can full of embryos the fat man had droped.
While they were searching for this, the dinosaurs would be ravaging San Diego, Battling it out with the Army. But after finding the Embryos in the can, they would get what they needed to turn on the kill-switch within the dinosaurs, killing all of them on the mainland. exapt for 3 new species that the rival company cloned themselves.
With the mainland cleansed, the U.N would decide that Dinosaurs were too big of a threat to humanity to alow to exist in this time, and the movie would end with both the original island, and site B, being Nuked. to clense the earth of the Dinosaurs once again.
it was said that the 3 new dinosaurs would be a new type of Raptor, a new large Predator(most likely Gigantasaurous) And a new Herbivorous.
i dont know if they still plan on going with this storyline, i just think it would be cool to see the dinosaurs wreck havoc on the main land. remember the T.rex scene in Lost world where its ripping apart downtown los-angelas? It would be like that, just alot bigger.

The only good plot for JP4 would be this.
A small group of dastardly Engen profit mongers had spent years secretly taking various dino eggs from Site B. They took them to secret lab locations in many major population centers (LA, NY, St. Louis, etc.).
Naturally, the baby dinos get really big and break out from thier cages due to weather, human idiocracy, or sheer luck. They get to the surface and we understand the title of the film.

Jurassic Park will never reach the heels of Godzilla. "Destroy all monsters" is a masterpiece that will never be surpassed. The Japs do not need no lausy Trex that chase jeeps, their T-rexs trample over national monuments instead.

JP 4:
2 years before the disaster at Raccoon City, Engen was bought out by the Umbrella corp. The Umbrella corp. experimented with injecting the T-virus into dino embryos. Of course, it all goes wrong (starting with the Raccoon City incident) and now zombie dinosaurs roam freely across the world. Unfortunately, a giant asteroid is on a collision course with the earth and Bruce Willis and his band of oil rig workers are the only ones who could possibly save the planet by going into space and landing on the incoming texas-sized-rock then detonating a nuclear bomb on a subterranean fault line. So Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, must fend off the above mentioned zombie dinos from devouring the "space miners" before they are able to launch. Luckily the shuttles are able to lift off and land on the space rock; unfortunately, once landed the space miners discover the asteroid is inhabited by a large, arachnoid type species that they quickly dub "the bugs". The bugs, overwhelm the miners and slaughter the lot of them. The movie ends with the asteroid smashing into the planet, causing a planet killing chain of events to start. It is a bitter sweet yet short time for the remaining humans as they rejoice that Hollywood will no longer be able to make shoddy, plot thin blockbusters any more but the planet they are standing on will soon be an uninhabitable hell.
Roll credits and embrace that disappointed feeling that you just spent $10 each to sit through yet another horrible JP movie.

They could film a new movie on a shoestring budget. Jurassic Park IV : Fandango Island. All the dinosaurs and people are represented via brown bag puppets.
