Yes. Yes she is. In more ways than one.

Did I ever tell you about the time Silat and I were winging up mossies and we shot down Skyrock twice in a row in his F4u?
He was not happy at our dweebery. We still chuckly about it every time we wing mossies together. 'Hey remember that time we got skyrock?'

Not Cryrock..? I was wondering what happened to him and Draggon both. Last time I posted up the name of that last guy, somebody posted something uh, disrespectful about him.
What's with the daily pumping up of Silat, anyway? Are the OPs angling for something? Perhaps something a bit "unusual"..?

Are you saying that you don't respect a woman that enjoys a box lunch at the Y as much as you do? :devil

If it wasn't for Silat I wouldn't have won my very first drag show.

Silat's favorite line..... "Do you like Gladiators?"

Oh no, I expect we'd stand shoulder to shoulder before the Dutch door and each offer a polite "after you". Why, if my rug had a stain I can only expect we'd manage to munch it out. All that said, I'm not sure I'd turn my back on her.

Then you are learning :devil

Silat did something awesome in a real life "good human being" sense for Palef, and in response Palef was compelled by joy or appreciation to share with the community. Nothing ulterior about it, and it was sincere.

Well, kudos to Silat, then. I figured as much. Much of what I throw out is strictly for entertainment. This place squabbles not so much like a bunch of old hens as more like a bunch of old men. By the mass, most here are of sound character, even if they insist on disagreement. This I used to call "tetchiness" and seems to be a province of elder males of the species.
I'm going to start a new thread that I think is of more value than the petty disagreements. I'm going to call it, "how my understanding of history has been conditioned..."
