Look,
ths setup is EXTREMELY expensive.
Yet it has two low-end video cards, and an old i7 processor, with plenty of ram.
Heres my setup (basically):
some Gigabyte mobo, am3+, easy to upgrade the processor, 4 ram slots, one pciExpress slot
amd phenomIIx4 955 cpu. Cheap, works like a dream, can be tuned up to 4.2 Ghz.
4x2GB ram, some kingston 1600MHz stick, more than enough for this cpu.
Sapphire 5830 GPU. Way more powerful than those double 520s. It was very cheap here, an 6870 or 6950 is also a very good gp, a bit expensive tho.
Some Western Digital hard drive, 750GB, 7200rpm, 64 mb catche. Cheap, large enough for me.
Chieftec 500w PSU, never had problems with it
Cooler Master Hyper212+ cpu cooler, quiet, cool, cheap.
Cheap case, cheap dvd witer.
22" lcd monitor
All under 700 bucks, here, in eastern europe. Built it myself, dont look as well as TilDeaths ones, but works very well. It must be cheaper in the states, works very well, i can run everything at full or almost full details, with a decent fps. Your computer is unballanced: very weak on the video card yet strong on the CPU. Try to get a balanced PC, will give you much better experience.

it only has a 500 watt power supply, it will barely power the case lights.  they keyboard you are getting you can get it for less somewhere else, and there's lots of options you dont really need.

lilsquid when it comes to computer just because it costs alot of money it doesnt mean it is awesome.  like I mentioned before 1100 will buy you a kick donut computer than will play ah with everything maxed out for years to come.  for 2000 computer it better come with trakir, new hotas set up,1 year subscription to ah and a desk with a small refrigerator built in to put the beer in.

I know it's your money but spend it wisely.  I'll post tonight some specs for my computer.  I build it myself and i knew nothing when I started, but if you know how to use a scredriver, that's all you need to know.  plus some imagination to hide the cables.

Contact TD.

For 2.3K you can get a hell of a lot better PC than that. You can try building one yourself.

Like SPIKES said you won't go wrong if you do a little searching around in here you can see some feedback from ones that have dealt with him. Just tell him you play AH and herd about him through the AH BBS.

Yeah he's awesome!  I can't recommend him enough!  Heck I'd even like to work for the guy! hah

He's got really good reasons for not posting on here anymore.  It's not really a subject for this thread but I can't blame him one bit!  Anyway I'm sure you'll love what he does for you!

Enjoy!

semp, where did you get that case?

it's the tempest case, got it from TD almost two years ago, not a problem with it.  6 fans included, most of any other case.  get the tempest evo is the replacement. case is huge as you can see.  the fan controller is from nzxt also.  i got it at fry's about about 20 or 30 bucks.

i believe TD has it for 10 bucks less than new egg.

Semp how is that fan controller working? I was thinking about picking up one the other day but passed on it since I didn't know anyone that had it.

the phantom is even bigger than mine (computer case size, you peverts),  look at this pics from lawn's puter.  same size mobo/video card.  but it only has 4 fans instead of the 6 the tempest has.

that weas my thoughts exactly.. the Phantom is larger, but the Tempest has more fans. Ive seen lawndarts, and thats what got me wanting the phantom, but its only a few cubic inches difference and the Tempest has a side window with more fans... but the Phantom has a more unque design  :cry
