Title: opening sound - how to silence it

How do I silence the opening sound music that comes up before I get logged in ?

There are a few ways to do this.  I would start by lowering the "Music" down.
You can also change the music if you'd like.

I just don't turn my speakers on until I'm logged in  :P

Once you login, and start the game go to the sound settings. There you can lower the volume or turn it off.

How do I change the music ?
Where is the file ?

Under the AH programs are two sound files. Deleting them also kills the in game sound. So I must be in the wrong file or folder.

On the clipboard in options/preferences/game sounds move the top slider labeled "music" to the left to turn off the opening music.

That should silence complaints from the peanut gallery about my start up .

As far as changing the music, just find a song that you like and rename it to title0.  Make sure it's in MP3 format.  Move the sound file now named title0
into the Aces High II sound folder.
There's your new opening page music.  ;)

Does anyone have any interesting title music already recorded in mp3 format they would like to share with us? perhaps the theme music for Kelly's Heroes or something similar?

I've seen quite a few Me-262s online recently and by coincidence Blue Oyster Cult also has a song Me-262  :D
I have it in MP3 format if anyone is interested.
