Title: Stupid Request: .salvo .delay
Post by: oneway on July 23, 2011, 12:49:19 AM
I would love to see the ability to enter both salvo and delay in a single command line input:

.salvo X .delay X

I don't think this would be easy to implement. The way we have it right now is if you type a dot and a word right after it the program (AH) knows that it's a command, not just text. But a dot in the middle would be identified as a period after a sentence. You don't want to be typing a sentence and then having it all erase because AH though it was a dot command.

Exactley Pig

Syntax:

.Command <param1> <param2 (nullable)>

Usages:

.salvo 4 .15 (sets salvo 4 and delay .15
.salvo 4 (sets salvo 4, delay unchanged)

It would be child's play to implement as the existing form of the multi-param dot command already is in place

Explain this Command and why it does not cause problems:

.delay .15
