You have to do more and deeper research before coming to such conclusions. The armor thickness is correct for the Panther G version we have in game. It's been even explained in that other thread you have posted in ;)

Paying money is pretty much needed if you get serious about the subject.  I've spent quite a bit on Mossie books in search of primary source documentation.

More like "how is it right"  Theres no source on where that came from, heck I could draw that.

Problem with wikipedia is anyone can be a "historian" and upload without even checking the source for verification - - You have to gather sources and make sure they are corrected, for example here are my sources:

Osprey New Vanguard 067 - Panther Medium Tank 1942-45
cites the Panzer G's Chin Armor as 50mm on 55degree angle, they lowered the armor from 60mm to save weight since they did not want to surpass the Panther A's 44.8 tons.

However - Schiffer Germany's Panther Tank The Quest for Combat Supremacy
Gives the Front Lower Hull at 50mm 55' degree angle (also sourcing the same reason to save weight).

Your information could be linked to the Panzer A and D Models which both had 60mm at 55 degrees (Front Lower Hull Nose)
