i had that happen to me last week... get in my car, been sitting all night and by the time i get turned around in my driveway (like a minute and a half tops) it was already warm.  :bhead

when your ground roll for takeoff in a C-172 is over 2000ft long at 1200ft MSL...

When i flew on thursday the OAT was reading 40*C

First summer that I had my drivers license, I would buy one of those small $1 bags of gummy bears and empty it into a container of more gummy bears. I would leave it on the dash so all the bears would melt into liquid. Then overnight it would cool making a huge multicolored gummy brick.

yeah that has never happened before  :rofl.  try coloring pencils the wax type.  cool as hell to use after  :banana:.
