The production time of a new ride just for the art can be measured in months. The 3D shape has to be built for both the external shape and inside the cockpit. Then these shapes have to be textured. I've no idea how long the damage and flight modelling work takes, but presumably less than the art. So whatever rides turn up in this next update were decided on long ago.

Any new ride that was started now would not appear until the update after that, which is probably months away.

I fly rarely?  Being home these last few months convalescing I've spent a rather large amount of time playing but that still doesn't answer the question I posed to our little friend Alpini which he hasn't answered.  Of the new planes we've received lately, which ones never leave the hanger like he claims?

I am rarely on, but when I am, Ack-Ack is usually on.  For example, he was on last night when I logged on at about 01:30ct.

It is actually a pretty nice perk gathering bomber.
