Is it even possible?
It HAS occurred to me that the problem is lack of room to PUT the beer.
A few weeks ago I purchased about 10 sacks of grain (55 lbs. each) at a group buy.

I've been spending a lot of time downstairs in the brewery (watch your head, please!)...

I have run out of room in the beer fridge, there isn't even enough room for the cO2 squid...

Since it has been abnormally hot around here lately (even more so during a brewing session) and most ales ferment cleaner at temps of ~ 65 degrees
(http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff107/tymekeepyr/Beer/Ferm%20Chamber/DSC00612.jpg)
I decided to re-purpose a mini-fridge into a fermentation chamber with some styrofoam knee-wall panels for building patio enclosures that were leftover at my work...

It is much cooler in here, the yeasties sure are happy

but alas, I do no have any more room left in there, either...

I suppose that I could have worse problems... :devil

Actually, most of it is earmarked for the ex-wife's wedding (my services were volunteered by the kids)
"Dad, I told mom that we can make all the beer for her wedding!"
Which translates into them, helping weigh/crush the grain, fill the water tanks, light the fire and then proceed to go upstairs and facebook/play games on the DS while I sweat my arse off for 4 hours and clean up by myself :rofl

Ask the folks that attended the Dayton gathering last year
I suppose that, ultimately, it depends upon your preferences :D
I have 15 gallons each of the following:

Send me about 100 gallons of water from Burton upon Trent and I'll whip up something reminiscent of a Wolverhampton & Dudley ale. I'll even serve it barely chilled and mostly flat from a cask and a beer engine :D

So... Does the upcoming nuptials free you of alimony payments? That would be grounds for a party!

Just out of curiosity, how much beer can an individual produce before the government inserts its big fat nose into his/her business?
-
Its only too much beer when you have so much that the kids can take without being noticed.
-
Awesome pics! Vonmessa.
The 2011 Gathering of Legends Pale Ale was enjoyed by all, to bad you couldn't come.

You can always send any extra  my way :D

That is per adult in the household.
Some (2 or 3) states, it is still illegal.

It is merely a convenient method of affording readers of this thread, access to the facts of the attempt to pass this law in one particular state.

:rofl :rofl WOW!
Funny and sad at the same time.
Ya know, it's too warm down there to brew good beer anyhow.

I'm about 3 hours away near South Williamport...yunno little league world series?
But Von I'd seriously make a trip down and throw some $$$ your way
You need an air conditioner in the basement..I just got a portable one for my garage where I play. All you need is a 5-1/2 hole to stick the vent line out.
http://shopping.yahoo.com/778280908-paca130hpe-portable-air-conditioner Doesn't have to be an expensive one.

I can fit 30 gallons (6, 6.5 gallon buckets) and 4 cornelius kegs in the fermentation chamber.
I left the floor and rear (stone) wall bare for thermal mass.
It holds 65 degrees and cycles about once/hour for 5 min. Would probably cycle less if I added more fans (which I will do when the last of these ales are finished fermenting)
Haven't tested it at lager temps, yet.

I have an a/c. It works just fine. Except when you are boiling 15-20 gallons of liquid for 60-90 minutes... :devil
I think an exhaust hood is in order, next. I have exhaust fans in the windows, but they aren't closer enough to boil kettle to do any good :cry
It's gonna be a toss-up between that or hooking up the natural gas to the rig. Propane is ridiculously priced and running out in the middle of a boil or keeping an extra tank at the ready is a PITA.
I already have NG plumbed into the house for the stove. I just need to tap off of the lines and get different orifices as NG is low pressure, while the LP is high pressure...
There are some really wicked 32 jet wok burners out there. :rock
