Title: Ignore feature on the BBS
Post by: BoilerDown on July 26, 2011, 12:50:40 PM
One thing I think the BBS is missing is an ignore feature.  In-game, this is called squelch.

There are certain people who often post that I would like to not have to read.  If it can't be done on an individual basis, how about a filter for any Radioactive level poster who isn't an employee of Hitech Creations?  But individual filters would be better.

Is it really that hard to ignore what someone says without a computer having to help you with the process?

I can understand if someone was spamming you with messages, but if someone who annoys you makes a post/comment on a topic, then simply don't read it. not very hard to do.  :headscratch:

Agreed.

Why not simply ignore it?
I assume you don't have a squelch feature when talking to people in person.

It appears that is just for PMs, not for message board posts.

It appears that way, I agree, but it does work for message board posts.  Of course I always am really curious what this person I hate said so I usually end up clicking it anyway.

You have to be logged in for the ignore feature to enable.

dont you think it would be confusing for you to understand what's going on if they reply to somebody that you have squelched?  same as in 200 when you squelch somebody and they keep talking to him, but you have no idea what they're replying to
