not to like about the genre? :)

Why would HTC use their time playing around with new ideas that look like a low-budget historical movie gone wrong, when AH is their piece of cake? Myself being a musician, not a coder/computer person/whatever, I don't know much. But I DO know that it takes a fairly long time for something like that to be designed, created, textur-ed, skinned, brought up to working order, and introduced to the game. May as well continue to ameliorate what we have, rather than sidetrack onto different things.

As for what's not to like about the genre... i don't think I really want to hear what isn't to like. And I've never heard of it.

That's a pretty closed attitude for someone who calls himself a musician. You must only play "covers" and
never delve into anything requiring a bit of creativity. Enjoy seein' your world through blinders. :)

No, I'm not that kind of musician. I'm a member of the Halton Regional Police Pipes and Drum Corps, I play classical violin and viola, tuba, trombone, trumpet, and a tiny bit of guitar.
I don't play these "covers" that you speak of.

And I've actually written a piece of my own. More of a tune, really.

I wasn't being closed-minded, I was stating my opinion on what I think of steam powered tanks made of wood, with commanders wielding swords.

Paying attention to my posts elsewhre, I see. :aok
