as if they are within a dar ring.
Apparently, many feel that leaving the map is a legitimate tactic as evidenced by the fact that most every run on all country cities and headquarters were run by bombers who had left the map.

there is sort of a dot that big red/green arrow is pointing to the sector where somone is off the map... but im with karnak explosions make everyone smile

I'm sorry but.... Is there a wish here? You can always see friendly "dots" no matter how far off the map they are.
(at least I do.... but I pay extra)

hear hear!!! :aok i say make them explode too!! since our world is flat :rofl :rofl... they shouldn't be able to fly out of the map...!! no way of seeing whether the arrow is showing 1 con or 100 cons..+1

The map was full of both red and green arrows today.
My point is that the red arrow should be replaced by a dot because the person leaving the map has decided he needs the advantage of the enemy only seeing a red arrow rather than the dar bar which tells of the amount of enemy or friendly cons in that sector.
We can already see friendly dots off the map.
Multiple sets of bombers were represented by a single arrow that crept from the enemy territory around the periphery of the map before suddenly showing a large dar bar as they showed up only a few miles from the city.
What people are doing is defeating the purpose of the dar bar.
There is not one particular side doing this exclusively and it is rapidly becoming more common at an alarming rate.
Give us the dots we see when inside a dar ring when someone decides to game the game by flying off the map.

what should really happen is if you leave the map then you explode. just that simple.

I remember the first version of motocross madness in which the arena was a box canyon with steep walls.
If you somehow made it up and out, you could drive along until you ran into an invisible wall that viciously backhanded you high into the air to the center of the arena as you made a falling bomb sound heading to the ground.
That was pretty funny.

Would be cool to have alien UFO's attack off-map planes. Like something out of a sci-fy.

They should go boom. Flying off map is taking combat avoidance a bit too seriously.

The first correct statement you have made in this thread.
Yes, most every run made to our HQ that I witnessed was multiple formations of high buffs that had flown off the map.
I saw similar stuff over enemy HQ when I was spoofing bombers to incite a 163 to up so....it was done by pretty much all three countries.

Either do like Karnak says, explode or implode once they fly off map (give them a one minute warning to re-enter allowed airspace) or perhaps HTC could setup the arenas to have downdrafts once you leave the edge of the map...........nothing like a loss of lift to challenge their uber piloting and formation skills. :aok

i see the point here... i do but the dar bar is to sort of let you know they are comming and they can avoid that by flying under 100 ft as far as i know so they could hide there numbers on the map anyways... but eitherway arrow draws more attention they cant bomb the HQ off the map? and the hq is on the map(last time i checked) so those bombers will have to cross back onto the map reguardless in which case im sure 10-15 163s will up for them and climb to they're alt in a matter of minuets if your team chooses to ignore the threat of an arrow about to break onto the map and hit the HQ i think thats a teamwork issue i personaly would be waiting on the runway waiting for it to re enter the map..
i do see how this is annoying but at the same time giving dots off the map isint exactly fair nor is using it to hide(which u really cant do) but i still think sudden explosion is best solution 3-4 min to re enter map or explode seems fair
