I don't know if this is a bug, but I was experimenting with using analogue controls for switches, and when I map one to move view left and right, one end gives central head position (right behind your gunsight) and the other slides ones head fully to the right. Could not move my head to the left at all.
I would have thought intuitively that the middle position on the potentiometer would centre your head, and the full throws of the pot would move your noggin left and right?

Am I to take it that no one else has experimented with this functionality? You Luddites! :old:

I have. It worked for me in the past. However it was one of those things where you can't adjust other head movements because you're locked into that position. Saved views etc get messed up a bit.
It's better not to map it to an axis, but to use the new axis-as-buttons feature. Look for the min/max buttons lower down the mapping list and set that to "head left" and "head right" and it might work better.

Thanks Krusty I'll try that. Was thinking of adding a spring centring pot to my new joystick for this purpose.
