China paid off the film company to make the aggressor state not be China.

It's also believable now that North Korea has destroyed all of Asia.
Here's the news clip on it.

North Korea would get owned if it tried to invade South Korea.

Ok ok .. sorry .. suspension of disbelief failed on the initial premise, I hate when reality intervenes.

Will prolly be good entertainment :)

When Red Dawn came out it was bascially a documentary or docudrama in my neck of the woods. Height of the Cold War with rumors abound of massed Chinese and Soviet troops in Mexico. The greatest threat to any great nation is always within, and I don't mean Chinese troops getting in. It's from failed policy and morals leading to cultural decay, leading to national failure.

Soon they will run out of crappy 80s movies and resort to remaking the good ones.
Fear the day sombody "re-imagines" Raiders of the Lost Ark, Die Hard, The Terminator, Blade Runner, or Back to the Future.  :bhead

Well she's age apropriate for Marty's mom now. Still pretty hot for a chick in her late 40s.

Oh I thought the Original was BAD-ASS when I was a kid and still find it entertaining.

Same for me as a kid, especially since I grew up in Michigan.  But now I find that movie completely unwatchable.  Its unintentionally bad, but not bad enough to entertain me, at all.

I wish it wouldn't sell so they wouldn't do it.  But it sells.

Then again Battlestar Galactica was many times better than the original so I guess I should withhold my scorn.
