Me too but stuck in the middle of the b12

I think its a done deal as the SEC is having a meeting this coming Sunday afternoon with the school AD's and Presidents to deal with expansion. IF it happens then the SEC will go to a 13 team league for at least one season in order to snag someone out of the ACC to jump ship and join up. Rumors are flying around the Birmingham area (where SEC HQ is located) that the team from the east will be either FSU or Georgia Tech.
-
b12 is doomed if it happens.
-
Aggies are gonna bail and get stomped in the SEC. Oklahoma is right behind them.
-
LOL best news I have heard all year, you aggies will never win a 1A game again. HOOKEM HORNS!!!!!!!!!. And the longhorn network is fixing to go on air, you can watch it and wish for the old days.
-
ESPN running a crawler saying it's a done deal.....with Mizzou, Clemson and FSU possibly joining SEC as well.
If MIZ goes - that's two teams leaving the Big12(10, maybe 8)....
How long before the other dominos fall? OU / OSU
-
poor b12
-
Blame Texas for the falling of the Big 12....

Idaho - non conference

LSU
Alabama
Ark
Miss St
Auburn
Florida
Kentucky
Tenn
tu (if they'd still play A&M) or Mizz.
Future hypothetical tu schedule....we'll see the what schools the big12 commish pulls to the Big 12

Rumors are spreading...... :noid
SEC being the securities exchange commission? :devil
-
LOL blame Texas for just beating everyone. If Texas said they wanted to move EVERY other conferance would fall all over themselfs to get Texas.

Just the fact that Texas keeps all the money revenue from the Big 12 must not have any implications on the conference falling apart..
-
Yeah - Texas is definitely reaping what they sow....First Nebraska / Colorado - Now A&M, possibly Mizzou.
Heard they're running promos for a new sitcom on the Longhorn Network... "Where's Colt?"
snicker...lol :rofl
-
Because other schools cant make ther own money and win games is no reason to think they will do any better some where else. McCoys brother is at UT now yall might see him this year.
-
Fight fight fight, victory for MSU!!!!
-
Yea, the teams want money, texas is too stubborn/arrogant to save the big 12. Now they are on a sinking ship and will go down with it.
Btw, all qbs on texas's roster arnt that good...
-
Nebraska was very smart to get out when they did pouncing on a great opportunity to go to the Big 10. The only sport it hurts at Nebraska is baseball. Every other sport it is a step to the side or up, and academics and research grants it will help tremendously as well. Big 12 is dead with this shift imo.

Another Spartan!? YAY!!! :x

Local news tonight is saying Mizzou is not joining. But I wonder as it was a little vague from Mizzou, and is fueling speculation galore. :noid

TCU already joined the Big East
-
doesnt matter to me whether its Longhorns or tigers, Gig 'em aggies

I don't think the SEC will add FSU. It would add another in-state rivalry, which the commissioners have already said they would NOT like to add.
If we were to add another in-state rivalry, I would say it would be GT, because they were once part of the SEC. I think we would be more likely to add Mizzou, WVU, NC, OU or another team like that. Any farther west than OU/Texas A&M and I don't see it working well into SouthEASTERN Conference.

Amen shill. Even though I believe Brantley sucks, Driskel should be the starter, and the spread offense should be brought back. I cant see a running back like Jeff Demps being effective in a pro style offense.
The rumor went around that the SEC were to add Missouri, FSU, and Clemson after Texas A&M.
Update: Texas A&M will not be headed to the SEC as of right now but the SEC did not deny the fact that it could happen in the future.

From the way I'm understanding it - A&M has a Board of Regents meeting tomorrow to decide if they want to stay in the big12. If they don't - and make it official, then the SEC or any conference would be allowed to invite. Just rumors until official word from A&M.
Was funny - on some message boards - folks were using flight tracker to track school planes into Atlanta today.

OU or MIZ would be good for TV expansion markets, as A&M would be a good for Houston and possibly DFW markets.
-
Sounds like the SEC doesn't want A&M... :lol
-
Seemed like it was a surprise that the SEC denied A&M. Everyone was saying that it was as good as a done deal.

Rumor mill is still going though. They still say it's likely going to happen. "They" being random people on rivals who pretend to be insiders. :lol
-

They don't need to track anything in or out of Atlanta. They need to track when the SEC commissioner makes his flight out to Texas if he stops in College Station for a "refuel" on the way to Austin to meet with the Texas legislature then you can be pretty sure that the deal is done regardless of what happens in the meetings that will then happen in Austin with the state legislature.
The big deal breaker though will be if the state legislature says that whatever you do you have to do equally for the other schools in Texas by which they mean Baylor, Texas Tech, et al...

An AnM spokesman speaking off the record said even if the SEC invited them nothing could or would be done till after the football season. I dont have anything against AnM Texas is just my team, But the SEC wants the 10th biggest TV market that comes with AnM its ALL about the money. And there has been a cable program cable BEVO for years and no one said a thing, but when ESPN rebranded it from state wide to nation wide did AnM get pissed they could have started there on program at any time. And Texas is not the first program to do this kind of TV deal.
