Title: Is it just me?

When I'm in a 17 pounder I can't look around.  Besides that my clipboard is half off the screen so I can't see the map or check field status.  I've also only got full or no zoom.  It's been like that since the 17 lber was introduced.

It's just you. It works fine with me. At least, it does offline. :noid:

I have no map.

I don't think you are supposed to be able to look around, IE: Hat switch vies, like in the gunsight of a tank.

My zoom in mode 2 has been hosed since the new gv system came out. It's either in or out. the [ ] do not work to adjust it. I had to make a Mode 4 for gv-ing.

I turn my speakers up and use sound to determine where the enemy is and then swing it a few degrees from the center of the sound until I acquire the target.

So evidently then guys in 17 lb guns weren't able to turn their heads even though the gun is totally open except for the armor plate in front?  Where did they find all these guys with such stiff necks?

BTW you can use F3 mode but when you do you don't turn with the gun so you have to keep adjusting.  I just wish it was a little more realistic.

the 17 lb'er has not always been like this, only since the new GV system.

i could swear hitech himself said he was gonna fix it shortly after the first new gv version, but this was several patches ago.. he was also going to replace the range #'s back on the reticle.
