Title: Hori drivers !! Help!!
Post by: justIN on August 13, 2011, 01:11:15 AM
I bought a Ace Combat 5 flight stick for a PS3. It's by Hori ( namco ) the guy said it will work with all PC's and games it's a usb connection but It wont download drivers when I plug it into my pc. I am running vista 32 bit. And I can't find nothing on drivers for it. Came across some solutions but nothing seems to work. Spent $60 and retail is $129.99 so at this point any help or does someone want a PS3 flight stick for $60

Here is a set of drivers you can try out... only problem is you need to translate the instructions. Sorry it is the best I could do.

EDIT

Here is one in english, look 1/2 way down page it has the HORI FlightStick2.zip there.

can you find it in the "Devices & Printers"  section in Vista?

if you see it, or see it as a gamepad or game controller, right click on it then click the "game controller settings"

since it is USB , MS Vista should have loaded a generic game controller driver at the very least........  if you see it and can get to the settings, you should be able to calibrate it... then it should show up in Aces high

hope this helps

Good Luck ..... this is one of those 50/50 ordeals whether it will work or not

 :headscratch: from 2004?

found review on it and even that article said, the manufacturer (Hori) only guarantees it with the ps2. found several articles showing even the ps3 isn't guaranteed to work with it.

who told you the retail was $129? brand new it only sold for $70.

If it's the flight stick 2 then it's the same thing as the Saitek X45.  Maybe those drivers would work?
