Title: traded pc for desk

Well this is the computer he built as his part of the trade.

ASUS P5NT Delux motherboard
Intel 2quad Q8400 2.66Ghz processor
Barracuda 1.5 TB hard drive
Apower 900W power supply
Nvidia 9800GTX video cards (though I haven't gotten the other card to work he actually sent 2 cards)
8 GB of RAM
LG DVD writer
Windows 7 Pro

I think I covered it all. :o

This thing runs AH so much better than my old Gateway computer did. It actually runs AH at the level I have wanted to be playing at and then some. FP actually took care of his end of the bargain several months ago and has been patiently waiting for his delivery until it finally arrived on Friday. :salute FP

I am a little late in putting this up. I wanted to post this when I got it moved into my pit. Unfortunately I have not had the time to get started on the pit yet and with the way business is it may not be until winter.

Good doing business with ya FP. Now if only I can work out some kind of trade for that triple monitor set-up. :D

BTW I only have one problem with the desk.... Its too nice, I'm afraid I might scratch it.

hell yeah. the problem is my woodshop is in my basement and it's like there is a dust hose running straight from the basement to the main floor. ;)

Post by: guncrasher on August 13, 2011, 07:50:04 PM: hey lawn, i think the 470's you have are the same if not better than the 560's you want. almost 100 more processing cores and you can oc core/shader to 800.
