M-18 :noid
*locks door due to the sound of BAR running here*
just in case...

Leopard 2 and Challenger II are good looking modern tanks.
WWII, the Panther V, T-34/85 and Tiger II are all very good looking tanks.
-
Panzer III Ausf. L. Something inherently attractive about it to German tank fans. First of their tanks to feature heavy armor and a powerful cannon.

Lol, I guess mine would be the M475 but the King Tiger is my second favorite.

The S Tank
Because it's plucky, can dig itself in and swim.

Or this little gem from the 80s

Panther Ausf.G, Tiger I, Stug III and IV.
-
All time around probably the Tiger then the t-34. M8 is also cool I used to hunt panzers with em and was so fast I would do circles around em and shoot em in the engine :D
-
Honestly, M-18
And M-18 :noid

Prefer the short barrel Ausf. G myself.

i always thought that the IS-7 (even though it was only a prototype) looked far more evil IMO.

Tank cat.

The Sherman in all it's forms, although it probably wouldn't be my favourite if I had to serve in one.
Honestly, M-18
Thanks a tank destroyer not a tank. No roof, thin armour.

hence why i did not post it in here :aok
Tiger I by all means as WWII favorite
M24 Chaffee overall because a WWII restoration company works next to where i do and they tore up alot of pavement and dirt with it for the hell of it :ahand

Oh without question. (http://i478.photobucket.com/albums/rr149/Rich46yo/Tanks/jp-1.jpg)

And when they finish the upgrade this one will look even better. the M1A3

M1A1 by far is my favorite tank spent many a year in it, last of the tankers tank. Newer STEP modles are great but rely on to much electronics.
-
The LePieumobile, just because I'm French.

Tiger 1 thing was just intimidating to anyone who came across it...lasted a good while before it met it's equal

<Forgot that! :bhead
M1A1

By far the best tank of its day. Second to none in fear-factor and as a tank-icon.

Don't get more menacing than that rolling down the street.

stand within firing range of it with nothing but a rifle in your hands.
even this would be formidable:

I think the Scorpion etc CVRT platform is very cool, 30mm/76mm/90mm and every variant you can imagine, MLRS, AAA, SAM, APC, C&C, ambulance, radar, AVR etc etc. 50mph+, same ground pressure as infantry, reliable (well the diesel versions), pack 2 into a C130. in service ~1970 - today ...

Does that have more gears in reverse?
Just kidding.... ;)

Call me stupid, but I have always loved the tanks I grew up with: M60A1 with its 0.50 cal commanders cupola and an IR searchlight mounted on the barrel. Too slow, not enough armor, too tall... say whatever you want. I still think it looks cool. The other tank I like almost as much is its predecessor, the M48A3 which is almost the same thing with a scaled down gun and even less armor.
-
I have always been a fan of the BMP myself not really a tank.
Maybe t54/55.

its humping it! and I see legs in the back, people legs :rofl

I didnt even notice until now :rofl :rofl :cry :rofl
-
I like the British Challenger 2 and Merkava for modern day tanks, with the Leopard and M1A2 being close seconds.
Nothing really catches my attention from 1946-1980-ish.
For the WWII era, I really like the Cromwell and Panther G. The Tiger I and Panzer IV H are a close second. Oh, and I think the T34x is over-rated.
-
The Centurion, just missed WWII, served in Korea - none lost I believe - and served into the 70's. The Israeli's liked it a lot!
