Title: Rangoon pictorial (better late than never?)
Post by: Brooke on August 14, 2011, 10:42:31 PM: I finally posted my pictorial AAR for Rangoon. Late is not as good as posting it right at the end of the scenario, but I figure it's better than not at all.

That is a grim situation to be in: chased by about 15 enemies, and one has just enough speed to catch up. Arg. <S>

Post by: Krusty on August 16, 2011, 10:39:44 AM: That last frame I spent about 15+ minutes doing what I would describe as "fighting for position" but never really getting a good solid fight. Wasn't going to go diving in with all those baddies hovering around. And chase me, they did!

I kept trying to separate 1 or 2 and maybe make a pass but never got the chance. Ended up RTB with nothing to show (for that particular effort, not counting the early part of the frame).

Post by: Brooke on August 16, 2011, 02:31:32 PM: Yep, I'd have done the same. If I could lure one off by himself or manage an attack on only the highest enemy while the others can't get at me, OK . . . but no way would I have reversed back into a 5 on 1 to let the enemy swarm me.
